The Atwater Tour is fast approaching. I just registered bringing H Stock to a total of 6. Stuart and Keith are registered in their very fast MINIs. A name I have not seen in Tours before has registered, Abe Douglas. Abe if you are here let us know. My codriver will register and I am sure TBDAugs will register. Everyone have a safe trip to Atwater and we'll see you there.

Yee, of short memory. Abe was at San Diego and San Bernardino, co-driving with me.

He is still listed as [N] on the pre registration. Please accept my apologies- and pass them on to Abe. Will you have my money at Atwater? With my (and your) memory I don't think you paid me yet.

Looking forward to see you all there. I'll be at the Atwater ProSolo the weekend before so I don't know for sure yet what kind of rubber I'll have left.

As usual we'll be hosting a Mini get together at the RV Saturday evening at the usual time with the usual beer, wine, brats and bergers. You all may recall that Kristi traded up the motorhome at the Qualcomm event, so we'll be there in a Grape colored Ultimate Freedom. It was a pretty expensive AX for me. Hope Atwater is a little less expensive and I'm a little more competitive.

I did well timewise at the Houston National until it rained and everyone but me switched to rain tires. Still finished 4 of 6. More importantly I've been picking the brains of these other Hotshoes and with that and the seat time I hope to put a bit more pressure on that 3rd place spot than before!

Augs,

Is Mark Chiles driving your car at the Pro? Just wondering if he was driving across the country for one event...

I'll have a co-driver at the Atwater Pro event and I'm looking for someone with 2 tires for the National event the next weekend as well.

It's been made pretty clear to me these last few cold/wet events that a codriver makes a difference on the Hoosiers. If you aren't getting them hot enought o need to spray between runs then they aren't heating up enough to take full advantage of the R compound.

Here locally I took second in PAX yesterday ( http://www.imgoingcrazy.com/URSCCAresults/URSCCA_4.htm )
in the rain on sealed asphalt running the OEM run flat tractor tires on their steel wheels with DSC on. I

I'm tired of waiting for Hoosier to come out with the Rain radial so I'm going to use the runflats next time we get inundated at one of these National events.

Now you've done it. I will have to bring rain tires just because you mentioned the R word. I am bringing S03s on xlites just in case, just beacase of you. Rpb is registered.

Ha! Rob told me he ws going to codrive with you. Glad to hear you two are still around and not forward deployed.

After the Atwater Pro I suspect I'll have used up enough 03's to put the Dunlops on the X-lites and whatever A3S03's I have left on the SSR's.

Chris do you know if RV parking overnight is allowed at the Atwater location?

Chris,
You aren't going to need rain tires. We are currently experiencing a heat wave here in Nor Cal. It has been getting into the 90's here all week.

So far there are 12 registered in GS, 3 of us are Mini's.

Where is everybody staying for the event? RV's or the Holiday Inn?
