R60 HomeLink Garage Door Question
HomeLink Garage Door Question
On my 2013 CM, only the 2nd button on my homelink rear view mirror can open/close my garage door. Wonder if 1st/3rd buttons are defective. Anybody able to use all 3 buttons or more than 1 button?
We've got each of our three buttons programmed for separate devices, which is what you should be able to do, too.
If only your #2 button is working, then I'd guess that #1 and #3 were not programmed correctly. Syncing up to "rolling code" receivers is a little tricky.

+1 I agree. I have mine on number #1 after numerous tries and frustration! Finally it "took" after numerous attempts to synch with rolling code.
My experience was strange programming ours. I managed to get it eventually but I have no idea what I did that finally worked. Basically, I grabbed the homelink instructions (use the net if you dont have originals) and the MINI manual and "tried" to follow the instructions. It felt like the 2 had a different procedure??? Hopefully if you keep fooling with it you will strike on the magic combo. I finally did.
I must know how to program the Homelink if I can get the 2nd button to work fine. I follow same procedure on 1st/3rd buttons, but it never works. I only need 1 button now, but may need a 2nd button in the future. I don't know.
Thanks for the feedback.
