Brad, we were talking about the grocery getter from hell, my monster wagon, the audi allroad. So, I am boosting the 2 turbos up to 307hp, with 366LB-FT torque, lowered it 18mm with the use of the VAG com, the computer diagnostic interface for Audi, and added zimmerman drilled and slotted rotors with PBR ceramic pads. I also added H-Sport sway bars 35mm in the front and 22mm in the back. To finish it off nicely, I added some RS6 18" rims with a 245-45-18 tire to match. Big fatties for all that power.

Had a GREAT time at the mini5280 meeting tonight, it was great seeing all the old faces and some new ones as well. What a wonderful group of people...looking forward to hanging out more often.

Mark, I will be headed down to visit Anthony next week to get those other shots and I will forward them to you for all our entertainment

Jon,
That is SWEEEEEEET! You're right that is probably one of the most modified grocery getters out there.

I noticed you had 2 people lifting the 35mm sway bar in place, was that in the instructions for safety reasons?

Thanks for the pics, I will let you know the next time I am in your neck of the woods for a test drive. That has to scream.

See you at the next meeting.
Brad

Safety, schmafety...naw...it was because we needed to muscle the ends to hook up with the uplinks...there is like zero tolerance in there, you have to be exact. We muscled that thing for about 45 minutes, then it finally popped in.

Definitely drop me a line when you are up this way...we can go get snacks and go for a little drive.

If not before then, see you next month at the http://www.mini5280.org meeting. That was a hoot!!!

cheers

That sure is one big bad grocery go-getter! ...and it will get you where you want to go!
Great to see everyone at last night's meeting. Jon, thanks for the explanation about tire dimensions! (mini5280 sure knows how to have a good time! )

Bridget, it was good meeting you, anytime you want to talk cars, or have questions feel free to give me a ring. The tire thing can be a bit confusing, but I got it down if you need a refresher.

Yeah, mini5280 does know how to have a good time. I am really looking forward to the monthly meetings and other events. Wish I could join you all for more of the weekend gatherings, maybe I will catch a few this summer.

cheers

I love those cars, I wish my mom did as much as I do, because her old Volvo is giving us way too many problems and I'd really like her to get into an Audi Allroad. Nice work on the Samco hoses, wheels look great too.

Jonathan, I sent a bunch of various pictures of my Mini to your 5280 email address, are you gonna create a member gallery over there? Can't say that I noticed if there was one there.

cheers
