Which is pretty close to the industry average of 138. The "Problems" mentioned in this survey can be anything from dislike of a certain feature or function to something serious that can immobilize the car.

Thats very true. It can be something as simple as, "My salesperson didn't show me how to operate my auto wipers or he didn't show me how to change my ambient lighting. It doesn't always mean it is a bad product, just a bad first impression.

Heck for years it was because the cup holders were too small and that folks didn't like double pulling to unlock the door, or the window and door lock toggles in the center stack or the layout of the center stack...

So the double pull is normal. Ok, I thought there was something wrong with it, thanks. The only thing I don't like about the switches in the center stack is that I can't figure out how to roll just the drivers side rear window down by itself.

Really? Each window has its own switch.

Have you tried using just it's switch? And, you can avoid the double pull by using the central lock. I usually have something to get out of the back anyhow or am stopped for gas and need access to the filler.

The double pull (double locking) is a long-time BMW tradition. It is a theft prevention measure.

The doors should logical unlock automatically when the key is removed from the ignition. Just like every other car, including BMW's...

It was a joke since the countryman started as a 2011 model and the survey uses 2010 models...

Hinting at that the countryman doesn't have any problems since it wasn't even used in the survey

if you dig deeper into the data you will notice that the Mini Cooper hardtop was rated quite well. So something is bringing the brand's overall rating down. Last month the best selling body style was the CM, so unfortunately I'm thinking that may be it.

The CM has been shown to have dismal repair records by both JDP and Consumer Reports since it first came out, although there appears to be a definite improvement trend with each succeeding model year.
