I need bypass valve help

I just spent allot of time reading threads about the forge kit and the alta valve. Some say the forge is the best there is, other say they went from it to the alta and like it better. Nobody says why which ever one is better. Please let me know which is better and why. Thanks in advance.

Gen2 cars use a BOV....and then depends on WHICH MOTOR, n14 vs n18....look a bit more...and imo fo a new post with the needed info, including the cars year, and motor....
And a question to ponder...

Personally, after some homework, I went with the Forge Blowoff Valve. So far, it has worked very well.

Add one more BOV... waymotorworks.com to the list!! Take a look at their website. They are a very well respected mini vendor here that knows mini's very well.

That's the way I'm leaning mostly because I don't like the idea of taping a resistor in the harness. I was just surprised to see some replace the forge with the alta and say it's better.?

We recommend the Forge and like it best.

As for what people say. Just read around whatever people currently have is currently the best, and whatever they had before isn't as good no matter what the part or brand may be. Never see someone post " I've got ______, but the other _____ is better.

This why I bought the Forge. Way has been tuning BMW/MINIs for a decade. I trust his advise and opinion when it comes right down to it.
