Have you seen the "True Price" mirror hanger sign? Accurate?
I've been car shopping for the first time in a while, and I've noticed a lot of dealers have this red and white(with some black) pricing sign hanging from the rearview mirror, that says "True Price" $xx,xxx. I was informed this is what the car is selling for in the local market. Most of the MINIs I've looked at had a "True Price" just below the MSRP, guessing around $100-$300 below.
What do you guys know about it? Do you think it's accurate? Do you think it could be kept artificially high by "giving more" for cars traded in?
Thanks!
