Just looking for a reality check. I think I got a really good deal. I found a certified pre owned 2011 Mini Cooper S hardtop with mini connect, premium package, cold weather package, leather, xenons, 100k maintenance , 100k warranty , roughly four years time wise left . Car has 47k miles on the clock. Excellent condition, new tires. And of course manual transmission . Out the door with tax and title in MN for just under $20k. Also came with compete maintenance records.

 

Yeah sounds about good once you kick in the 100K maintenance and warranty. Now go drive and don't stop grinning

2007 MCS in Savannah for 16.5k, no idea the options. I see that alot (I know, not a real word). Hell yeah FrozenMINI that's a good deal!

Yeah it would have made sense to ask first, but after the test drive didn't want to risk it going to someone else.

I'll get some pics for everyone on Wednesday. They are adding some sport stripes to it and replacing the clear bra on the hood.

Yes. Why do you ask? Something I should know?

 

I recently traded in a pristine Spice Orange '11 MCS with 22K miles and almost identical options** to yours when I bought my R59; however, MINI of Des Moines was able to offer me a considerably higher trade-in value (several $K) than Motorwerks was willing to offer me. Thus, I dealt with Des Moines instead (even though I had been loyal to Motorwerks for many years).

In your case, I think it's a good news story. The fact that Motorwerks may be inclined to offer less than neighboring MINI dealerships for a trade-in probably means they can re-sell it for less and still clear their desired profit. I think you paid a very fair price for your MINI.

And BTW, it looks fantastic!
