R50/53 Basket weave 14" BBS 4x100 on my R50?!

Basket weave 14" BBS 4x100 on my R50?!

I just came across some 4 lug 14" basket weaves im thinking about putting on my R50, I cant come across any pictures and im hoping some of you can help me out

Nope...been tried...will not clear the brake calipers...
RustyEURO tried it if I remember right.

yep, they fit over the caliper and...well they'll stay put without lugs. i had 22mm adapters on (.866") and they still wouldn't clear.

there are some 15x6.5 bmw bbs basketweaves that come in 4x100 but they're kind of hard to find (from a late 80's e30 xi i believe)

now that i think of it let me find a picture

On the plus side, 14 tires are becomming pretty rare....not many good choices...so if you like the look, going to a 15+ inch size imo is the way to go....but bet the rim is more $$, but all about supply and demand.

I think those 14s would look way better on a Classic Mini than a new MINI

I have a set of the 14" BBS RZ 6.5 wide wheels. They are 4x100 and will never fit on our Mini but do fit on our VW. 14" tires are not easy to find but I have some very nice star specs on them.
