I was wondering if there was a work around to get the ROUTES to transfer to the MINI from a trip I create in Google Maps. Send-To-Car works seamlessly in that the destination transfers, but the route does not - MINI Nav system insists on employing its own routing algorithm. Essentially I need to drive through NYC to Boston on specific Parkways (as opposed to stone-kicking, truck-clogged Interstate 95). I can make a perfect route in Google Maps but MINI Nav has it's own ideas.

 

Can you add a few waypoints to make the MINI follow the route you want?

The only time I've lived with a MINI nav, I wasn't impressed and used TomTom on my iPhone instead. With TomTom, I'll add in extra waypoints to make it go the way I want.

 

Yes, with the MINI Nav you can enter multiple destinations (up to 30) and reorder them.
