I want to see all the matte black wrap folks..

I effing love the look or a well done *full* wrap, especially matte. Anyone care to show pics of theirs? I plan to do mine soon. Even if it's not black. (Sorry if this has already been posted in another thread, but i didn't find any.)

If you do this, you should get it wrapped regular black and then wrapped with flat clear. No one makes a black BLACK vinyl. They are all grey-ish. I had planned to get my WRX wrapped 4-5 mths back and after visiting 4 installers, that was the only viable option. Flat grey looks blah but true flat/matte black looks amazing.

Here's my thread. More pics at post #35. Matte white is my color tho and you aren't allowed to have it!

There's a matte black R56N around me that it looks like they wrapped themselves. It looks just awful. The color and sheen is nice but it is very obvious from a distance that they wrapped it themselves.

I was originally going to do something like this until I saw white was an option. I was going to do bright, gloss orange instead of red.

Here's another. It looks quite terrible IMO.

Really just google image "matte black mini cooper" and you'll get thousands of results.

Oh yeah, please do not wrap your A and C pilars. They belong gloss black, it blends with the glossy wrap around windows. When you stick a column of matte in there, it completely disrupts the design of the car and looks god awful.

Also don't wrap your MINI emblems. It looks like his entire car has been shrink wrapped. There is no detail left in the body or accents. It's just one giant blob of matte black.

Here in Québec, cops don't like this! You're a criminal (not really) if you ''reduce'' the efficiency of the reflectors Don't know where this guy lives, but it might be the same deal.

I like the creativity. I also love matte black stripes that look like velvet on the bonnet n boot.

It takes a bit of courage to try something like this and I applaud that. I don't have the courage or the $$.

I love the stormtrooper look. I especially like it on the new two-door white sahara jeeps.
