New Countryman Owner

Looking forward to chatting about the R60 with you all.

First question that, is there a good online shop for buying parts for the Countryman? I use Pelican for my Cayman and they do have some Mini stuff but nothing listed for the R60, only Gen 1 I think...

I am trying to put a parts list together for an oil change etc.

Any advice on sites would be appreciated!

Cheers

waymotorworks & outmotoring
you can get what you need from either of them.

this kinda makes it unfun

.. and congrats.
post up some pics !!

*edit* i think 1bigpea made a nice oil change video.
i did mine at around 1500 miles it's really easy to change on this car, just make sure you have about 16" of extensions and a swivel for your torque wrench to get the filter cap on and off.

Welcome!

I buy basic maintenance items from www.bavauto.com for my 4 cars. No oil listed for the CM, but I called them and they said the Liqui Moly was good which is what I use in all of them. I buy enough oil and filters for one year so I get free shipping and no tax.
I have bought brakes, wipers, filters from them for the R53 as well but you probably won't have to worry about that for a while. Bought all sort of parts from them for various BMW's over the past 16 years...

If you are looking for mods, then there are other specialists that are better. Cheks the mods section in the forum, you need to click on MINI Countryman on the cookie crumb to get there.

Besides Way, Outmotoring, as listed above - Sewell & Prestige (Mini dealers) are great sources for OEM parts & accessories and are price competitive as well. Sewell offers a 5% NAM discount when you register w/them and have sales almost monthly. -> http://mini.sewellparts.com

Welcome, as said before we do sell all the MINI R60 parts and make some of our own. We don't use sales gimmicks or special codes to get sales, we just offer the best fair prices we can and customer service.
