and he listed it as Turbocharged. I tried to let him know it was supercharged to fix his listing and he proceeds to tell me I am wrong. So I told him to post a pic of the turbo on the engine and he sends me this.



I still had to tell him it shows a Supercharger. LMAO!! He even relisted it a second time claiming it is still turbo charged.

 

Also he states AWD Continental tires. Anybody heard of these? LMAFAO!!

that is just plain weird good luck to him, but if someone is that clueless and able to photoshop its scary buying a car from them.

 

I tried to tell him how MINIacs are and he blew me off.

 

EBay should be alerted to false listings so this can be removed, and possibly strip him of allowing to sell. He's a scammer, and is nothing more then trash.

 

He did change it to state it is supercharged now. Too funny

You are 100% right except I was trying to help him out and he decided at first to give me an attitude. Thats all.

 

One runs using a pulley, driven by the belt assembly, the other uses gases to spin it, big difference. As you said, not many people are educated in cars. What if someone was to buy it, purchase a bunch of turbo upgrades, only to find out it's not the correct assembly. Is it their fault for not doing research, sure, but at the same time, the seller is responsible for giving accurate information so the person understands what their buying.

With that said, I would never buy a vehicle sight unseen, some have good experience, some have been screwed, but some people rely on the internet too much. It pushes people into buying ina way, to see a car you like, and to actually see the time it will be gone off the sight.
