Hey, just trying to see what's ahead of me in terms of Maintenance.. I keep buying parts to mod the thing and I plan on slapping everything on in the spring.
Anyhow, I would like to know what types of services are expected soon, drive belts, plugs, etc.
I take care of my car a lot. I am very meticulous both interior/exterior and motor.
thanks guys!

Edit: forgot to mention, the car had 98,000km. That's roughly 60,000miles.
The car has had brake service done prior to my ownership.
It's a 2007 MCS

A couple pics since threads are boring without them.

All depends what mileage you are at, and what's been previously been taken care of on the vehicle.
Provide us with more details and we'll be glad to get to you the info you need.

-Have the timing chain replaced if you havent already
-carbon cleaning (walnut blasting)
-check your oil feed line to turbo (50k-60k is when it starts to fail)
-change your battery if you're still on the original
-Spark plugs at 60k

Cool thanks!

-I had the chain done. It was after warranty but they saw the car was serviced regularly and accordingly. They decided to still do it free

-ill check the oil line to the turbo! Thanks
-I had that one my list to clean the carbon out.
-battery is good
-Plugs will be a good idea, def on my next oil change in a month or so...
Thanks!!!

The only thing that really should be coming due is changing the spark plugs.

Timing chain, carbon cleaning, oil feed line and battery only need to be addressed if they are experiencing an actual problem.

Thanks. How would I know about the oil feed line? Any way of checking myself or is it a technicians job mostly? Any symptoms of how I could know its getting clogged?

The more common problem is that it starts leaking. Evidenced by the drops of oil.

Buy a Bentely Service manual. If you plan to keep the car, and do a lot of, or most of your own work. EVERYTHING about service is there.
