Stoptech Brake Question.

Hey guys... I have a question for you brake guru's out there. This may be a dumb question but I figured I wont ever know if I dont ask. I have a pair of Stoptech ST40 calipers from my 07 Legacy GT that I use to have. And I was wondering if the calipers would fit the car baring me getting the appropriate hardware (Caliper Brackets to attach the caliper to the car). I know I would have to get new lines and rotors. I found 328x28 Stoptech AeroRotors that the kit uses and Im sure lines couldnt be to hard to find. May even just go with different steel lines if its a problem. Only problem I can see is finding or contacting some vendors to see if the hardware would be available to purchase separately. I guess mainly I'm asking if the calipers would be able to fit if I got the right brackets for the calipers? Hope I'm clear enough in what I'm trying to ask. Id appreciate any help.

Why not go right to the source and contact StopTech directly?
The biggest issue for fitment would be finding a carrier that matched the MINI hub, but accepts the Subaru StopTech caliper.

Yes! ST-40 is universal. I have the same BBK up front so once you get the remaining hardware to mount you will be fine. Enjoy the stopping power in the MINI.

Pm me and I can show you where to get aero slotted rotors for a good price. Better than paying over $450 for aerorotors

Yeah that was going to be my next stop... just wanted to know if anyone may know before I made myself look like an idiot . I have found everything except for the caliper brackets so I will prolly contact stoptech to see about that.

So I got to thinking just now.. that I also still have the rotors with hats from the kit I had on my Legacy gt. So I'm thinking that all I really need are the hats for 4x100 instead of the dual drilled (5x100 & 5x114.3 that are the LGT & STI). Which is actually awesome. I have pads. And just need caliper brackets and stainless lines.
