Selling our CM ALL4....

So, I'm looking to sell our Countryman S All4 for sale, but noticed there is no section to sell it here. What gives??

I listed it on Autotrader for $33,000 with the following writeup:

For sale is our literally, like-new 2012 MINI Countryman-S All4 with MANUAL transmission. A rare combination as most of these cars come automatic. I welcome you to find another MINI here for sale on AutoTrader that is in as good a condition as this car. If I said it had rolled off the lot 2 days ago, you'd believe it. The only reason we're selling the car is because we need to get a pickup truck that will allow us to haul our motorcycles without a trailer. We absolutely love this car, but we really can't keep both. We're not desperate nor in a hurry to sell it.
80% of miles (15k) are highway miles. Car just had it's scheduled service. Car sleeps in garage with A/C & as you can tell from the pictures, has been pampered since the day we got it. We don't have kids & the car has NEVER been smoked in or eaten in. Has rarely even seen rain. Has always been washed by me & only me, so that means no swirl marks. Car is completely stock except for blacked out pieces which were vinyl wrapped (can be left or removed...it's up to you). Pieces blacked-out are: Belt-line, headlight & tail-light surrounds, front grille surround. Side scuttle marker wrapped in carbon (see picture) & ALL4 badges done in red.
This car gets looks like you can't imagine. Sit at a restaurant where you can see the car & you'll see most passerby's stop to point the car out to the person they're with.

Car comes equipped with the following:
- Xenon headlights
- Fog lights
- MINI-Connected (web-radio, Twitter, iPhone app integration and tons more)
- Navigation
- Bluetooth & USB/iPod
- Prem. package
- Sport package w/18" wheels, Xenon headlights, white turn signals
- Tech. package (park distance sensors, Harmon Kardon sound system
- Multi-function steering wheel

Also Included is the following:
- Rubber mats (plus stock carpet mats)
- MINI ROOF RACKS (also wrapped black to match car)
- Rubber MINI trunk liner (like-new, never dirty Most it's ever had in there is a few bags of groceries
- iPhone cable

There are two marketplaces on here where you can list vehicles (don't ask why there are two).

1. New marketplace. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...rketplace-386/
2. Old marketplace (no specific CM section). https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/marketplace/

Good luck!

why not get a hitch for the cms all4?

http://minifini.com/ShopDetail.aspx?id=68

The new Country-Link for the Mini Countryman is rated better than Class II (3,500 lbs towing / 300 lbs tongue weight)

That was the original plan, but here's the problem: the reason we want to haul the bikes is to travel with them. Once we are at our destination, going somewhere (say to dinner) with the trailer attached will be a pain in the A$$ and leaving the trailer parked with 2 ducati's on it isn't exactly the smartest thing one could do. So as much as I hate to get rid of it, the smarter thing for us right now is just to get something else. Actually looking at a Ford Raptor.

I never had much luck on Auto Trader selling our 09 MCS. It too was low mile and perfect. You might have better luck advertising locally or on Craigs list. I guess you never know but that was my experience. I actually think putting it on NAM is a good choice as well. Probably better than AT. Good luck selling it.

I'm sure you're right. I sold my GP about a year ago to someone that saw it on here and on AT.

You are in the Bay Area, right? I have always good luck with Craigslist.
Selling a car at that price point as a private party is hard work. You need to find a buyer with cash in hand or one who has secured their own financing. You are competing with dealers where ayone can walk in and drive out. 15k and below is a quick and easy sell as a private party, but anything higher is tough.

I got more hits from Craigslist, but ended up selling my 2003 through Autotrader, though not until I upgraded to their VIP package or whatever they call it. It sold a few weeks after I upgraded (after not selling for 3 months), so I guess it was worth it. Hard to prove definitively.

good luck, i believe it'll be tough finding a buyer who gets what that amount of money actually gets them, when they can buy a brand new one, with fewer options of course, for that amount.

BTW, fantastic pictures, wow, those beat the common shots everyone else posts in their ads!

Also, I agree with one of the posts above, killer garage! is that a parking mat your on or did you do a special paint job on that section? If a mat, where'd you get it?

Thanks. It's a mat of Racedeck flooring (flow-thru tiles). Got it from Racedeck. Really good stuff.
