this plug was dangling and I found that the plug socket was next to the brake lines.. I had a heck of a time getting it back in, probably why it came out in the first place. Not sure what it controls though. when i plugged it in, it did seem to set something under the hood. I heard some kind of motor buzz at me.

 

Looks like the HID auto level sensor.

 

ok, cool thanks.. i'll check that now see if they are auto leveling..

 

Yup, headlight level sensor harness. Cross your fingers that the rubber seal on the harness didn't swell or it will not go back in the socket even with the most brutal force. This is what happened to mine after I had it off for less than a day I had to modify it a bit to get it to fit back in.

 

well, thats probably what happened... I was able to get it in pretty good, but it didnt snap in place..
