I am looking to put black stripes on my MINI. I want either the stripes that are on an angle or sport stripes on the hood and hatch. I want to know what others paid so I can see what I should do cause I can't wait anymore! Thank you!

Good morning. I did the angled stripes with # in the roundel. I believe I paid around $150 for the stripes from Mighty Stripes. They do not use the quality vinyl that they claim. I also have the sport (rally) stripes up the bonnet and down the boot. Those stripes are from the factory and much higher quality than the aftermarkets.

 

I have the factory bonnet stripes. I'm looking at getting them replaced ($55/each + labor from factory). The factory curved stripe is subtly different than any aftermarket I have found (I can't tell if Mighty Stripes is an exact match). I put on boot stripes from Rocky Mountain Graphics and have been happy so far (only $20). Then my vinyl guy installed the boots for $20.

 

At Ebay UK there are a lot of Sellers. I recently bought bonnet stripes with pinstripes and I paid about 16 or 17£. And the quality is good for the money. And these were curved like the factory stripes..

Exactly in your situation - want stripes but which ones and from where... check out ebay - LOTS of options and ideas.

 

Any of your local Fast Signs, Sign-a-roma type places can cut them. They may or may not do installs.

I cut alot of my local MINI clubs members stripes, and depending on what they actually want it runs about $20-$45 for bonnet and boot and another $20 for enough to cover down the bumpers.. 3M top quality vinyl.. Let me know if I can be of any help..

 

My boot stripes are from Cooper Flags and my side stripes are from HouseofGrafx.com. I'm happy with both. I think Cooper Flags uses a higher grade vinyl but HouseofGrafx has a lot lower prices.
