Any place online I can order mufflers only?

I am looking to get my exhaust work done for my 11' MCS and I can't seem to find the exact muffler I want online and hopefully looking to get a pretty good price. I am going custom just so everyone knows and I wanted the magnaflow muffler but I also heard flowmaster is pretty good too. If anyone can direct me in any direction for the mufflers I am interested in, please help me. Thank you!

If you are considering the Flowmaster 40 series, check out Thrush welded. A lot of hot rodders are going to them. I have one on my Ram with the 5.9 Magnum, and it's great. Same sound and construction as the two chamber 40 series, but less than half of the price. You can get them at the big box parts stores (may need to special order for your application).

If you want help, your probably gonna have to be a little more specific - since your building a custom system.... not sure what it is your looking for ....

Typically the exhaust fabricator you choose will be a dealer for any given number of high performance exhaust mufflers. What exhaust shop in Michigan did you decide to go with? There are so many given that ummmm.... you live in the general vicinity of the Motor City Most of them have cutaways of the mufflers so you can see what you're buying into. If you want better flow, you should get a pass-through designed muffler and for God's sake don't decide to only use a "glasspack" firecracker muffler. You don't want to fall into the world of rice.

If in doubt...

Haha, no way am I gonna just buy the muffler. I am buying that magnaflow muffler because the guy I know Tim at Muffler Man on 14 mile and Groesbeck has always done my exhaust work. But I am getting the whole work done from the downpipe and back. Obviously I don't want to do anything that will cause a check engine light from my downpipe. But he's doing the work for $200 minus me buying my own muffler.

I just want to buy a 3 inch tip magnaflow muffler and I am going to get custom work done by a guy I've known for a while. He charged me $200 and I told him I wanted my own muffler not what he had there. So, I was just wondering where I could buy the muffler itself.

Is he making a customer downpipe with an aftermarket cat? If so, there is NO WAY you'll get around a CEL. A tune that removes the code is the only way out of that unless you decide to do a catback.

So are you looking for just the tip ???
Then you say that the muffler guy didnt have the one you wanted, I dont really think that anyone here can help you since you cant tell us what you want... why not just tell the muffler guy what you want and let him get it, sounds like he is doing it at cost anyway.

I am going primarily off of what Davidoyo and Yeah.ThatsRice did to their exhausts. I just want to do the muffler and tips. I am not even touching the DP because I heard it just throws CELs. If I am wrong in any of this please let me know. I have never done any exhaust work to my past cars in general so I am a noob at this part.

You can pretty much change anything from the downpipe back and not get a cel. If youre lucky you can get something that bolts up at the downpipe. The O2 sensors are on the downpipe only.
