Desparate need of quick wheel & tire advice! Too agressive?

Can I pull this set up off without it being too aggressive or ridiculous poke and/or rubbing? I have 2007 Cooper S and I was going to go get them if I could get some affirmative answers. Thank you, everyone.

I would vote no but I'm a bit conservative on these set ups. I'm sure someone will chime in with more experience on the extreme side of things.

Use a wheel offset calculator like this:

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

VS a factory 17x7 +43mm fitment, the wheels you are looking at will stick out from under the fenders by about 2 inches... So no, not even close to fitting.

I thought the factory was ET48, or does that not even matter?

I'm not trying to go crazy, I just wanted flush or SLIGHT poke. I live downtown, so I can't be stupid.

Yes they will poke a lot.

16x9 et25:

8" wide et30 or 35 is about as flush as it gets:

I appreciate it. I guess I'm going to do a 7.5'' ET35 with spacers. How wide of spacers can we run on that set up before extended lugs are called for?

Any spacer you run should correlate with the same extended length of lug bolt.
So for example, if you're running a 10mm spacer, you're needing a lug bolt that's 10mm longer than OEM.

Not yet. I was still deciding if I was going to do air or coils. I've searched for extended lugs on here and have found mixed suggestions- does anyone have personal experience with a particular brand or know the difficulty of install?

I know with my G35 I bought extended lugs from what was perceived to be the "authority" on 350/G35's(Z1), but the threads were rubbish and the metal was shotty.

I would go conservative if you are thinking of lowering. A mm here or there will cause rubbing. Also the back has a metal lip that can cut your tire.
