strange mist from front of car

Occasionally, when I activate the windshield washer I also get a brief, fine mist that appears to come from front of car near the headlights and wafts up over the hood. It seems to happen mostly when I haven't used the washer in a good long while - say a week or so. Has anyone else experienced this?

It's a headlight cleaner. There's an arm that pops out every so often when you clean your windows that sprays the headlights.

On BMWs its every five sprays of the windshield washers, the head light washers go.. So I can only assume its the same for Minis.

Thanx! I actually did read the whole manual cover to cover when I first got the car. I'll have to go re-read it to see what else didn't put it's thumbprint on my brain.

Think of the stress you could have saved yourself by just not posting in this thread, if questions that can be answered by the manual vex you so.
