Rear sunroof tilt

How can I get the rear sunroof on my r53 to tilt? There is a member here that says his rear sunroof tilts on a 2004 r53.

Tell that member to post pics or it didn't happen. There was never an option on the R50/R53 for the rear glass to tilt. It's not made to tilt. The R56 is made to tilt. So, either they fabbed in an R56 panoramic roof, or they are mistaken about the rear tilt.

The R50 and R53, until 2006 did NOT have a sunroof where the rear glass opened or vented in any way. Unless it is a custom job he had done or someone else who owned the car before him had installed.

Can it be done? Sure, with enough $$$ ANYTHING can be done. Is it a standard configuration of any stock sunroof on the R50 or R53, NO.

I have an October '06 MCS, and my rear glass does not tilt. Best I know, this is a 2nd-Gen feature.

Greetings. I purchased it with the Sunroof mod already installed. Not sure if its a dealer job tho. When I push the button to control the sunroof in, the first one tilts,If I hold it down for 3seconds,the second one tilts. It seems to be just a simple motor controlled lever system that operates it an up/down motion. But I know that on stock systems, the rear glass is fixed. Don't think its really a hard job to modify it tho.
