I'm trying to decide between these rims to put on my Mini. I like them both a lot but tirerack's "view these on my car" makes them look stupid.
I've seen the O.Z.'s on the show me your wheels thread and they look good, but haven't seen the sparco's.
If you guys could post some picks up of them for me that would be awesome and also give some feedback on how they hold up, how hard they are to clean, and what not.
I know this wasn't one of your choices...but not far off. Sparco Pista look pretty nice on a MINI as well.

Sparco...I like them..my car handles much better with the weight savings.....17x7 were 18#
Those wheels look really good. Do you have a pic from the front or rear showing the offset? I don't like the look of wheels poking out past the fender trim.
OZ Sparco Assetto Gara 17-7 4-100 Matte black with included spacers from Tire Rack. Weight 18.3 lbs. Installed in May 2012. I like the clean lines and open spoke design. Even my big meaty hands can make it between the spokes to clean behind them and reach the front part of the wheel. I put a coat of Wheel Wax on them right away. Tire Rack recommends only using soapy water to clean them (painted finish).

Thanks for the pic! I was thinking about clear coating them after I got what ever rim I decided on, but I guess an extra layer of protection wouldn't hurt
Only thing now is if I did get these, I'd have to get a BBK So my brakes don't look so small lol........ Not sure if that's a good or bad thing haha
EB DOS - Yeah, this style of wheel DOES expose a much larger view of the rotors and calipers! I've taken the path of "upgrading" components as they require maintenance. It takes a lot longer, but at least I get my money's worth out of the original components.
Yup. 205/45-17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 205/45ZR17/XL 88Y After two other sets of tires (runflats and non) I've finally got a set of tires that are quiet and give a very comfortable ride in my 2004 MCS
A better pic
