Suspension Well this is just weird
Well this is just weird
After installing a 22mm rear sway, set on mid-stiff, I ran a AutoX yesterday to get used to it.
Before, with the stock bar, worn Direzzas and 10lb difference in air pressure I could get the back to rotate fairly well.
Yesterday, with the 22mm bar, new Direzzas and alb air pressure difference, the back didn't want to budge at all. I could not get it to rotate on the course at all. I did feel more grip up front, but with the lack of rotation, it still just understeered at the limits.
I know new Direzzas will have more grip, but not that much...
I'll be going to full stiff next weekend to see if that makes any difference, but I was expecting a lot more rotation on the mid-setting over the stock bar.

If those were the only changes, I"m a little surprised but I bet you can get it to rotate when you get used to it and/or some more playing with tire pressure.
Also, add some camber up front and take some out in the back.
