I know this is going to sound crazy. And over priced and just stupid

But i have a r53 mini. I always wanted those Black union jack flag mirror caps. But of course they don't come for r53, only r56 and later. I have found ones that will stick to factory, but its just not the same to me.

Is it possible to take a side mirror from r56 and install it on a r53?

i mean the holes line up, curve of the door etc with out having to mold the thing on it.

Yes, same geometry.
Try the R56 covers on the R53 mirrors 1st, might fit.....

 

R56 covers will NOT fit on an R53 mirror.
