R59 Any one throwing emission codes
Bluefox280
I believe I made an error is my last post. The dealer listed the code as fault
315A which is, I believe, a vent valve opened however, when the gas cap was checked, it was fine....I think I listed the diagnostic code in my last post. Throwing codes for no reason bothers me. I had a Subaru which had an 02 sensor code for 60,000 miles and would go out for a week after I changed the sensor and then come back. Would hate to have this with MINI..

* MINI DTC P2421 (0x315A) - Evaporative [EVAP] Emission Valve: Sticks in Closed Position
If that's truly the same code the dealer is pulling, I'd be checking the check valves and solenoids to make sure it's not hanging.
Keep pressing the dealer to diagnose and fix the fault at hand.

Thanks.
If it happens again, will be on them. They thought, as you said, that something may be hanging up but could not find it or duplicate it once it was reset. I appreciate your input and as I said, will be on top of it IF it happens again...
