Iphone Mount

Been playing with a few options, This one works great with the factory Y Cable. With the use of Tetrax Magnetic mount, the iphone comes out very easy, but is very sturdy when placed in the holder. Easy to make, Get a L Bracket from Home Depot or Lowes. Will need to bend the ends to match the below picture. You will need to unscrew 5 bolts so that the center rail can be lifted up to place the bracket underneath it. I secured the mount by using #M Double side tape and then placed the screw back securing the center railing. You may have to cut of a small piece of the L Bracket so it is no pocking out the other side. You can get the FIXWAY Mount here - http://store.tetrax.us/xway-line?pag...&category_id=4

Question I phone mount

Cool mount, great idea Rocket
Now just find a way we can play video while the car is moving.
Do you think since everything links up to the screen that there's a way to play a dvd in the cd slot?

Thats a software limitation, which I believe can be coded out. But its also a law, you can't have video going on an in dash unit while moving.

Not sure about playing a dvd

This is really a sanitary installation. Though, I'm drawing a blank on how you actually installed the L bracket. Do you have any mor pictures of this?

In for more photos. This looks very promising. Did you have to attach a magnet to the back of your phone, or do you use the Fixway case?

I got all excited until I realized I have the nav which shortens up the rail system for the thumbwheel and buttons. I don't think there is room for the mount and my phone with the limited rail space. Looks great though.
