Bonnet Stripes fitting instructions

Hi All,
I recently bought a pair of bonnet stripes for my White Mini Countryman S All4.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/011-Hood-Bon...item3cc224cd73

Does any-one know, where i could find the proper dimensions/measurements for installing the stripes?

From: In the here and now, for now.
Not familiar with the CM but I think if you just lay them out on the bonnet, don't peel the backing off yet, us a little painter's tape to hold them down, and get them in position where you want them they should be just fine. The key idea is 'you-ification' and measure twice. I've replaced my bug destroyed stripes twice now. Very easy to do if you take your time.
Hint: When you get them lined out, fold over some strips of tape and stick them down next to the stripe so the folded part just overlaps. That way you can mark where the edge of the stripe should lie top and bottome.

Attempt #1 was a bit of a failure

I tried the dry application method, and had too many tiny bubbles. Think i'm going to try the wet application next.

Thankfully the Ebay decals cost only $35 a pop. Detailed picture coming soon. I will also post the dimensions, if its helpful to anyone.

Please expand on what you mean by the wet application. I may need to replace one bonnet stripe in the near future myself. Thanks!

Here is a video explaining both methods.

In particular, i tried something like this.

However, i ended up with a LOT of bubbles. Here are some pictures.

Dray application with bubbles

Also worth noting, that I removed the stripes almost immediately. And, as long as you do it slowly, its fairly easy to remove.

2 things could have helped with the bubbles. a hair dryer and a few days in the sun. you will still need the hairdryer/heat gun for the wet method or it will take HOURS for the adhesive to dry enough to remove the paper.
