Thinking of leasing a Countryman S, what is everyone paying?

Thinking of leasing a Countryman S, I'm having a hard time figuring out typical lease rates (miniusa.com doesnt publish any special offers :( So was wondering what people in the community have been paying?

I'm thinking because most of us have customized Mini's ordered from the factory, we buy not lease. I would guess that if you lease one you will get a standard version.

You can order whatever you want and finance it however you care to - there are no restrictions as long as the factory builds it.

I leased mine knowing full well that I would buy it out at the end. For me I just needed to get my payment a little lower than a purchase due to another loan I need to get paid off. The lease payment amount really depends on quite a few different factors. I leased through MINI with a 4% rate for 3 years.

If you are going to lease a Countryman S it would be helpful to know what the MSRP is? How many miles per year do you want (10K/yr is the Ad)?, How much money (if any) do you want to put down? Do you have a trade? Is your credit better than pretty good? Does the state you will register in require sales tax to be paid all up front or amortized over the lease? Once you "narrowed" down this info you can get a pretty good idea what your lease will be.

Some leasing rules:
1. Do not make a downpayment to lower the monthly amount.
2. Do not lease an odd amount of months - 3 year warranty with a lease for 39 or 42 months. Months 37, 38 & 39 will kill you.
3. This is a great lease calculator...http://www.ridewithg.com/calculator/index.html
The deal rating it comes up with is really useful.

Just leased an S All4 with a new April incentive: 10k/yr, 57% residual, 42 months, 0.00185 MF, no money down.

You can plug these numbers in with any lease calculator, your payment will vary based on the options you put on the car. As an example, my MSRP was a little over $32k and the monthly is barely over $400.

Hope this helps and isn't against forum rules...
