I remember it being discussed at one point and potentially
Becoming a reality if enough demand was created.

I thought auto-up windows has been standard (at least the drivers side) on all 2nd gen for several years already. Tap (not hold) the toggle. See the Owners Manual.

There are several sport mode modules on the market. Here's one: http://www.fes-auto.com/products_det...p?productid=24

 

They are, but they won't do auto-up windows with a convertible because they can't put in a pinch sensor. The coupe is basically a hardtop roadster.

 

I thought so as well and the website says standard for the coupe. However, that is not te case. And yes something to do with convertible and the coupe being based off of that.

 

I designed a module that I tested on my old mcs and plan to try it on my new coupe.
I need to buy the shop manual to see what the wiring looks like. Will let you know when I have production units available.

How about checking with NCS Expert knowledge people as many of these features already exist in the car but are turned off in the USA to meet safety regulations. Yet in other countries they are fully available.
