From what I've read it's not as big as the Countryman...it's a re-worked Clubman.

Yeah, looks like a stripped down Clubman. I am sure they will put some cool feature. A bit interested in the engine description.

"The 1.6-liter engine is an all-new design, uprated to both produce more power and handle the car's 4-wheel-drive running gear. It produces up to 221 lb-ft of torque thanks to an overboost function."

So will have to see what is in store for the future consumer lineup.

I think the article is mistaken, the Clubvan will not be available with All4, it won't fit the chassis as it is based on the Clubman, not the Countryman.

This is designed to compete with vehicles like the Ford Transit Connect, as a light delivery or tradesman's van. It will come without rear seats, having a flat load floor with tie downs instead. As such, I'll bet it will be sold most often as a diesel, and I'll be very surprised if they sell them here - right now the Transit Connect is delivered in the states with a back seat to avoid truck import duties, if they don't sell it with the back seat, they throw them away (the seats - so I'm told)

I was sad to see it wasn't countryman-based. I would totally buy a MINI-designed All4 van.

come on, this clubvan has more power then the CMS wish they would have put more power in the CMS when they designed it since we have a couple more lbs. Anyone know if we can get this over boost function i want some power and the clubvan doesn't look any bigger then the clubman
