Hi All,

Well my intentions were good but it won't work out this year. I'm changing jobs within the next week and that'll preclude me from taking the needed time off to come to MOTD. Heidi and I are very disappointed but I really need the change so overall this is a good thing.

We'll try again next year. Just sucks it won't be a special anniversary year like this one.

For the first 2 years yes. But Chad with Detroit Tuned has been running it ever since. I was looking to do a more low key beer sampling event this year.

Yetti, haven't done anything with my lodging. Right now I should have Tapoco booked for the 29th through the 6th. If you want any part of that PM me with your contact info and I'll contact Tapoco to see about getting it in your name. Shouldn't matter if you only want the few nights right around MOTD.

 

I have a room in the lodge at Fontana but just checking to make sure you get your money back and get an eagerly waiting replacement in there.

 

Some information you may want to know if you're staying at fontana this year. Upon Arriving at the lodge last year (2011) for MOTD to check into my room, I could not use my VISA debit card for my room payment because I was told debit cards were not accepted and a sign was on the desk stating this even though I couldn't read it from a 9hr drive away and on top of that the atm machine in the gift shop did not work. Just make sure you call in advance and get the current policy straight before you arrive and have to use your credit card or cash...This is FYI....
