Post a picture: Where do you LOVE to be?

I'm a wildlife conservationist and I get a little nuts when I can't get into the field for a while. This is Uganda, and I'm the one on the left (mountain gorilla in background on the right). My All4 couldn't get there...heck, Land Rovers can't get there!

I live in Colorado, so my favorite place to be is in the mountains! (just not in the winter time! I'm NOT a snow lover! )

Tough choice...
I was born and and raised in the Normandie region of France. I grew up on the D-Day beaches. I go to visit my parents a couple of times a year. I love it over there.

Then again both the Bay Area and Reno / Tahoe region are beautiful. This one is from a snow shoe hike near Mount Rose with incerdible views of Lake Tahoe.

Sorry it's more than one picture. Couldn't stop myself.

Kayaking in the ADK of New York State, there are so many places to paddle that if you pick your time you can have all to yourself.

Beach-bumming it

Wheelin' my truck

Out on the bay with the jet ski

And of course right in this seat

Well, "Press On, Regardless..." (I second-seated an Audi Fox in the mid-80s while the real drivers were in Quattros)

Who was your driver? I've been rallying since the early 80's - and have competed in POR (err, LSPR) many many times.

Was as high as 3rd overall @ POR (co-driving a Grp A Nissan); recently was 2nd in class just a few months ago (Subie RS). There is nothing like doing the Delaware Mine stage in the Mustang, though...

I did POR as well as other FIA events 60's & 70's - BMWs. POR and Trans Canada were favorites...

[QUOTE=RobBohn;3454846]Who was your driver? QUOTE]

That was a friend of mine using my account to post (she isn't a forum member; I emailed to ask who her driver was and I'll let you know by PM).

That's Bayeux, right? I spent some time in Europe last year. My girlfriend is a big WWII buff, so we spent time in Caen and Bayeux, saw the beaches, etc. I really loved it up there. She dragged me along for war stuff, but now I can't wait to get back!

As for the thread, I can't wait to be stuffing sandwiches into my face in Amsterdam again:

Yep, That's the Bayeux cathedral - Good eye . I was born and raised there, moved to the US at 15. My parents went back when my Dad retired. The other pictures are from Arromanches which you most likely visited as well.
