Exhaust flange stud size/pitch?

Anyone know the size/pitch of the threads on the stock exhaust studs? I have a new exhaust sitting in my garage and need new nuts for it. They don't seem to be metric, unless they're M7 or something weird like that... I seem to think they'd be very hard to remove, or I'd just replace them. Any insight that would save me from having to drive to the shop with a complete exhaust in the boot would be really appreciated!

Nevermind... Real OEM says it's M10. M10 by what, I don't know...but it sure doesn't look like M10!

(sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but its subject is right on target for me)

I, too, read the description of the exhaust flange nut being M10. So, I went to HD and bought a pair of M10 flanged nuts.

They don't fit.

They seem close in diameter, but will not spin on. Could these flange nuts be an unusual thread pitch?

Any help?

My question stumped the best here?

I did some detective work myself on this. I figured that I would post here my results, just in case it might help someone in the future.

The flange nut required is size M10-1.50.

Unfortunately, what I found is that the flange nut size sold by places like Home Depot, is (only available in ?) M10-1.25. Close, but not close enough.

Its an M10 part # 18107520438

The stud does have the pressed grip head. its M10 x1.5 . We have them in stock. I would get the studs from us so you have the tight fit. Getting at a hardware store you will just get a stock bolt and not have the teeth on the neck. But it up to you. Hope that helps.
