precedure of installing stripes

Im planning to install the viper style stripe but there is one thing that I quiet worry about. stripe that i wil buy is not going to come out with the cut on the emblem..I don't think I can cut it so I decided to remove the hood emblem and install the stripes and rebadge it but here is the question, once I remove the badge, I can't put it back in? am I supposed to buy a new emblem to replace? and how to remove it?

I solved this problem by making a tracing of the emblem and then drawing it onto a piece of card stock. I then free-handed around the tracing, making it approximately 1/8 larger all the way around. I cut out the enlarged tracing and used it as a template on the stripes. It really worked pretty well. I didn't want to take the emblems of and have to replace them, though I know a lot of folks with strips have had the emblems replaced in the process.

Double sided tapes from AutoZone works great.

No need to buy a new one. Your auto parts store should have emblem adhesive for just this kind of project.

Here's one of many threads on how to remove the emblem:
