Destiny finally arrived 2/4/12
Thank you for all the input for giving me information for yet another ordering a mini post linked here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...s-to-come.html
Ordered just after Thanksgiving and submitted by the dealership December 3rd, and recieved 2/4/12 (9 weeks)
Lightning Blue 2012 MCS
Black roof and mirror covers
Black bonnet stripes
Heated Seats
Back up Sensors
Center armrest
Automatic Transmission with paddle shifters

Girlfriend posing with her new car

My favorite comparison with my motorcycle in the background

Leaving East Bay Mini we got stuck at a red light.
So far she has let me drive it a good amount and I am surprised with how it drives and the amount of git' up it has. I only test drove a justa cooper, so the S is pretty awesome.
One thing the financial advisor also stated when trying to sell the maintenance plan/xtended warranty was that MINI now covers flywheel and clutch in there warranty.

/\ Jealous!!!
Thank you, to bad I get to watch the significant other enjoy it for the most part. She showed her family and the first thing I over heard was it will not fit a stroller...She responded, yeah because (look and nonchalantly points at me) he will buy the baby carrier. So much for me getting a JCW White MC. It is hard not to get hooked after just one drive.

Is this something new? Or is this just 'talk'?
This is a part of the new maintenance plan coverage ie. tires, brake pads, windshield wipers, clutch, flywheel, etc.
I did not ask if it was back dated for past customers, but I highly doubt it would be.
Something to look into for future maintenance plan customers.

Don't mean to be that guy... Do you have that in writing?
Destiny is an automatic, did not need that service, so I did not ask for it. I am sure you can look up what the current/extended maintenance plan covers.
My girlfriend will be happy with it stock, I already want to lower it, get rid of the run flats, and and and...
Only one shop in the Tri-Valley that I have used in the past 12 years.
http://www.rockymtnwindowtint.com/
It was $249 for all 5 windows, non-ceramic tint.
Main reason I wanted window tint:
Kills harshness of headlights through rear window
Will help maintain the leatherette material from uv rays
Privacy
Summertime the car will be cooler
Looks awesome!
