Hey guys, we are thinking hard about getting this Mini S: MINI


They didn't have an exact build sheet for the car so we aren't sure what exact packages it has. It has a black wood trim that I hadn't seen before but didn't know what all that was and does this have the upgraded stereo? I didn't think the normal stereo had the small speakers in the corners of the dash.


If there is a link to all the packages for an '08 that would be great too. Also this does not have heated seats which sucks-is that something we can add to the car? Thanks for any help.

 

I see piano black on the doors, as well as English Oak on the pull areas and dash. Wonder if the EO pieces were added afterwards by the owner, as those and the PB wasn't a mix and max option. Cream color line trim for the dash and door pulls. Chrome line option on the interior bits.

If there are tweeters in the pillars, that may indicate the HiFi stereo. May be bluetooth capable as well.

I see auto air cond, and sunroof. That may have been part of the premium package. The steering wheel controls was an option. Armrest was an option. Rear fogs were an option.

 

Get the VIN and call a MINI dealer. They can tell you EXACTLY what that car has.

Can you add heated seats? yes. Will it be cost prohibitive? probably.

Thanks guys! Yeah I was going to call the mini dealer monday but I thought you guys would have a pretty good idea by looking at it. How does the price seem? It's amazing how little they go down in price from new.

 

get the maxcare with it. It is worth it.

 

Spooner Price is about par. I paid 17K for a 2007 with 57K on it.
They want 19K. Did get them down. Wasn't a whole lot to choose from when I bought it but I've been totalled satisfied.

VIN number is the best way. Its like an ESN for electronic device the manufactor can tell you everything on it by that number

I have a fairly good idea now after lots of searching on the forum. Its kinda hard with they way mini does packages and ala' carte on their options.

With these packages thera also a list of options/add-ons, i.e. Nav, rear fog lights, interior trim adorments, etc.
