R60 blacking out headlight and taillight trim

blacking out headlight and taillight trim

Finally decided to go for it and try out the plastidip. Turned out pretty nice. Next up is the chrome grill trim and then the belt line trim.

I agree...the blackout treatment really looks right on the red.
Plastidip? Can you post some details?

Plastidip seems to be the tool of choice by most mini modders. This was my first time using the product but not nearly my first auto to mod. Instead bonding like paint, the plastidip forms a rubber coating on top of the surface applied. Because of this, the plastidip can be peeled away without damage to the original surface if you mess up or change your mind later. It is very easy stuff to work with and I will be using on some of my future mods.

Did this exact procss to my CM last year...pics have been previously shared(won't let me re-post), looks great on Light White as well.....yours looks great! Long live plasti dip!

I didn't take any pics while doing but read another post called blackout baby in the modification section.
