Paris Dakar rally
When I was at the bar last week, caught some on Speed channel (I don't have TV). The MINIs were doing well part way through the race. BTW: I only see one picture on that link, where did the one here come from?

I posted elsewhere about this. Racing Countryman.

@ Kurt: For the above picture I just grabbed the first linkable photo I found after an image search. I think it's from ABC News.
I figured somebody was looking at these events but hadn't seen your post. Seeing these photos made me like the looks of the Countryman for the first time.

each day on the Dakar.

Yup, the governing body screwed over Robby Gordon over the weekend to make sure that guy won.. Needless to say Robby Gordon was not a happy camper.
