To Super Blue or not too.

Anybody using the ATE Super Blue brake fluid? Good or bad experiences? I see WMW does not recommend it. why?

He just says if you need a hitemp fluid, use motol....has better specs.
A few folks have had warrenty issues using blue fluid....it meets dot4 specs, but a few dealers considered the fluid proof the car was raced....now a gen 1 is far out of warrenty...so no issues.
It is also a bit cheaper....

OEM brake fluid is probably fine unless you are tracking your MINI.

I just use whatever I have laying around. I mean Ate SL.6. I think the real importance is to change it regularly. BMW has recommended 2 year intervals for as long as I can remember, and MINI recommends the same (at least in 2002). I think you are better with fresh parts store amber dot4 than five year old special fluid any day of the week. The blue is pretty cool to use every other flush, since you can visually confirm when you are done.

Lots of folks....same as regular ate amber...
Some dealers could get agressive...threads are here...use google site serch as the current servh engine is limited by a date range to matain relevance.
Nothing wrong eith blue...it meets/exceeds all specs..just more mainstream than moutol, more of a nitch/racer fluid....
But fresh fuild from a sealed container beats old fluid...the yelle stuff darkens and looks more like maple syrup as it ages/asorbs water. Flush on a 2 year schedule to keep the fuid AND YOU SEALS in good shape.

It's in my car, no issues at all. Makes it real obvious when you have a fluid leak too.

I've got the Super Blue in my MINI right now and no problems. I'm due for a flush and plan to use some Motul only so I can alternate the color - just easy to make sure I flush it all.
