Dyno!

A guy I know has a dyno in his shop but it is only 2 wheel. I know he has done some AWD cars before by disconnecting the rear driveshaft. This is the only one within 2 days drive so my options are limited.

I never really had a good look under the car yet to see if this may be an option for the CM or not.

Any thoughts?

after learning that the all4 is a 50/50 split of power, I'm not so sure you wan't to do that

Keep searching for a AWD dyno. Why bother getting a 2 wheel dyno instead of how you drive it everyday?

So what does the connected app give you - the driving excitement

I get 211 HP 192 torque for my all4 but no one else has replied on their numbers for their cars

I am sure it's not very accurate but still curious what other folks cars show - would be ace I it was accurate enough to asses part mods...then we can Dyno the road

I was reading European Car mag (I think) the other day and they dyno'd a stock ALL4 S on a mustang dyno (reads about 10% lower than a dynojet).

I don't recall everything, But I believe stock was like 176 WHP and similar tq figures.

They did an ECU remap (forgot who), ran the car again and it showed a strong gain; producing 211 WHP (actual WHP number from the magazine).

Not bad for just an ECU remap... shows that this engine has a lot of potential.

Headers, downpipe, full exhaust with the proper most efficient diameter (my guess is a 3" exhaust)... probably looking at another 20-30 WHP.

Drop a slightly bigger turbo in... and 300 WHP seems quite achievable. Might need some better pistons and rods, though.

See here for exhaust pipe diameter sizes: http://www.exhaustvideos.com/faq/how...diameter/#easy
