Ever since I bought my MINI I honestly haven't seen many around the Woodlands or other surrounding areas. Is there anyone out there still?

 

And there are many Minis here.

 

It is sad we don't have more owners on NAM. I keep seeing this one Midnight Black 09 JCW in the Woodlands and it drives me nuts since she is my age (21) and would be lovely to meet her

 

I just picked up a 2006 Chili Red S and have an '09 that I use as a customer loaner. Going to clean up the '06 and perform some interior, exterior and performance mods and use it for advertising!!

Here's a 50/50 to show the actual before and after comparison:

This car is all red. I plan to paint the roof black, apply some matte black accents and a black set of 18" wheels. Power plant will get a smaller supercharger pulley, cold air intake and exhaust. Some carbon bits and wrap on the interior then a few advertising bits properly placed on the exterior.

Fixed. There are a few of the work so far!!

 

Use it how? For a little while, I saw a car driving around here with a Google Maps ad car wrap. I'd love to do that, but can't figure out how. I think it would look great on my Mini and would be a great eyecatching advertisement. And I could use the money.

I know there are websites where you can sign up and hope some ad people contact you, but there are more people signed up than they can ever use. And they ask how many miles you drive implying they want people who drive a lot of miles. I live in the inner city. I don't drive far, but I drive in a densely populated area.

Have had the car for week now and it's awesome.

My girlfriend has an '06 MCS with 49K (chili red with white roof), the inspiration for me buying my car.

We would like to meet other mini owners sometime.

 

Does anyone know if they have NAM stickers that just say "N.A.M"? I would love to see other Minis in my area that get on this site.

 

I grew up in laporte, now i live in seabrook, and drive in to UH once a week.

the mini population has exploded, in the clear lake seabrook area in the last year. I used to see maybe 1-2 minis a week, now i see about ten or more minis everyday.

I keep seeing more and more MINIs here in the Woodlands area. I really wish I could still organize more people together for a meet and greet. I had someone in a silver vert on Six Pines the other day wave at me in my PW JCW R56

HMMS has a meeting up near the woodlands this Sunday at Sitar Cuisine of India. Meeting starts at 10:30am.

 

How was the meetup?

I couldn't make it, that's over an hour drive for me. Houston is too big.

 

Meet was good, had plenty of people there, and good food as well.

 

i have an 07 silver MCS...I stay around the Pearland area and i have to say I'm always seeing mini's here and there. I'll be going out to next months Planet Zero meet, if anyone goes and you see a cooper with a LMAO(mini logo)VTEC euro plate stop and say hi

 

I live in the humble area... I just joined this forum in hopes to connect with other mini drivers in Houston.

 

Man I would've been down for the sitar meet, but didn't see this until now. Keep me posted if anything else comes up soon. I'm always down for a woodlands meet if I'm free.
