Software update issues?

It would seem our JCW's are currently running the same software as the S's - 8C.50.0 from the thread I read - has anyone ever got someone to fess up that our Mini's have been detuned. Anyone with a dyno comparison on stock JCW's 86.51.0 v. 8C.50.0? I would be curious to see the difference, along with a JCW and S running the 8C.50.0. Seems like tuning (software, higher boost, etc.) is where the JCW would get most of its performance gains, but how can that be if it is running the same software as the S?

It is the same version of the software, but the model definition in the VehicleOrder string determines what the "tune" will be. My non-turbo runs the same software version.

But it is totally possible they changed the tune (for the worse) for the JCW with the software update.

That explains it then...thanks.

I would hope that wasn't the case, but it seems the consensus, at least among the owners. Too bad we don't have any good dyno's to compare to.
