Help with Driving Light decision

I ordered the OEM driving lights last week. The dealer said he could connect them trough three separate ways.

1. When the brights go on.
2. When the Parking lights go on.
3. With the Fog Light Switch.

I'm leaning towards the Fog Light switch since I never run into thick fog, but that would Kill the purpose of the fog lights for good.

What would you do?

Cheers!

I should clarify that lighting isn't strictly regulated where I live, and all the options are legal. Even without modifications I can have ALL lights on at the same time without getting in trouble. But even then I'm always corteous with others around me

I would ask if a fourth were possible. On a separate switch. If not I would go with number 1.

Thanks for the input, I browsed a bit to see what the separate switch would look like. I would rather keep the clean look but I'll give it some thought.

I think what ACEkraut11 means to say is that the driving light switch should be independent from the headlight controls.
This can be done with a slight modification to the wiring harness to by-pass the 'trigger wire'.
However, you'll have to converse with your installing dealer to see what's allowed and viable by them.

I thought there was a 2nd switch installed to the left of the Steering Wheel, according to minimotoringaccessories.com "...they work with the standard high beams and have a separate on/off switch for use at your discretion...", so basically you have 2 options for how you want to use them. I'll be having Molly's installed on her 4th Birthday in April!!

True. Basically, any way possible to allow you to turn on the lights independently, whether that is with an integrated switch or one completely separate. My previous MCS had driving lights that had a switch on the knee bolster to power them and then they operated in conjunction with the bright lights.

Yes, that's the switch; but the wiring harness for the ligths are hooked into a module that only allows light activation when high-beams are present.
You can simply modify that harness to by-pass the "hi-beams only" activation.
