JCW clutch action question

Is the clutch action the same or heavier than a MCS? Thanks for the info!

In terms of pedal feel, or when it grabs?
After trying different MCS's, the factory JCW's have a tighter clutch pedal feel.
Grabbing feeling seems to vary, mainly due to age of the different vehicles.

in terms of the amount of force needed to press the pedal down.

I owned both and I have a JCW Coupe now and I can't feel a difference between the two.

JCW is supposed to have a stronger clutch than MCS (made in Germany?)... so part #s probably different. Check realOEM to confirm.

My husband has an S and I have a JCW. I feel a definite difference between the two clutches. The JCW feels normal to me, while my husband says it's heavy. I feel like my foot is going to go through the floor when I drive his car because I'm so used to the JCW.

Thanks for the info. A left knee injury has me asking this question. The lighter the better for me.

Pedal feel is very subjective. I have always thought all MINI's (including factory JCW's, I've had two) had very light pedals. Since picking up an Audi TT-RS in August, my JCW's pedal feel now seems truck-like in comparison. Stiffer and less progressive than the Audi's. When I switch cars, it takes a few minutes to readjust my driving skilz.
