Unhappy Port Hueneme, Asian King

Started a new thread because I can't remember who else was waiting for a CM from Port Hueneme on the Asian King. Just called the Port, the ship was due today, but not coming in until tomorrow morning. Boo Hoo!! Who knows how long at the Distribution Center after that. One of these days I will have my car. I hope it is worth this wait!!! I am sure it will be.

It's just about to San Diego right now.

Keep an eye on it in real time here: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/

(also anxiously awaiting its arrival)

Why is the ship headed west out to sea instead of north toward Oxnard? Woops! Now it turned north.

It is in port and docked as of this morning. I've been tracking this ship since it left Bremmerhaven. My MA at MINI SF stated it will be about a week before it is at the dealership and I can have an end of month delivery. Shooting for the 30th. It's been a long 3 months.
Can't wait!

I'm right there with you all!! I'm hoping for an end of the month in Denver!! Hopefully they're on different trucks so my MINI doesn't tour the entire Western United States first!!

I am in Westlake Village, 20 minutes from Port Hueneme and my dealership is in Calabasas about a 1/2 hour from the Port. I am hoping for 4-5 days!

How was your experience with Bob Smith Mini?

Wife wants a Countryman and have stopped by this dealer before and just the vib that they just wanted to sell what they had, not to interested in ordering.

stevepsd- I had no trouble at all at Bob Smith ordering a CM as they didn't have any in stock except one they borrowed from another dealer so people could test drive! I just hope they are as good with service, etc. I dealt with a gal named Kirsten who seems really good and Ian, the sales manager has been really accomodating about keeping me posted on the dates, etc. The only thing I don't know is they are taking my Infiniti back before my lease is up and quoted me a price for doing that that I hope they stick to. That was 2 months ago and I have put almost 2,000 miles on it since then, but I have also made 2 more lease payments so I hope it will be a wash. My lease has 3 more months to go.

So supposedly "the eagle landed" this morning. It is still only a guess that my CM is on that ship. The only info I have is that it was supposed to arrive on the 19th at Port Hueneme.

You should contact MINI of N. Scottsdale. They have quite a few of the CMs. I ordered mine today so I could get exactly what I want, but they are great to work with. It will be my 3rd MINI from them. Ask for Drew--simply the best!
