My Mini & Buddy's Supra - Mini photo shoot.

So my friend shoot down with his 94' Supra and we hit the roads of Augusta (Maine) today to take a few pics together. Was about 70 degree's and hardly a cloud in the sky. Perfect for photo's.
Damn, in some of the angle photo's you can really see the curb rash.

Nice pics.

Your right that last shot shows some serious road rash on the wheel.

Gotta stay away from those curbs.

They were curbed up pretty good when I bought it. I'd love to replace them but I just made my first payment about three days ago so it will be a little while before any mods or upgrades come my way.

It was, and as you can see in some of the pics, the freaking weather was amazing. I just wish I had a better camera for some of the photo's.

Understood. You may want to look into having them repaired. It's much cheaper than replacement and you would be surprised at how affordable it is. At least in my area I found a guy that does excellent work and is reasonable. Trust me everyone has a curbeee once in a while. (It wasn't me it was my wife.)

Motor On.

I'm going with a set of steelies for the winter and these will be broken down, touched up and repainted this winter so for now I'm just doing what I need to.

Hey PoppaDLo. Where do you live? I am just down the road in Topsham. Up until earlier this summer I had a 2002 Pure Silver MCS. Sold that and another 2003 Electric Blue MCS then just recently went to FL to bring home a 2006 Dark Silver MCS. I have a set of x-lites with some Hankook winter tires on them that I cannot use since they will not fit the JCW brakes on my new car. Interested?

Cloudy days are considered better for the quality of photos. I have a few photographer friends. Regardless....very nice car[s] and very nice pictures!

Or taking pictures during the "golden hour", one hour before sunset and one hour after sunrise. Soft, diffused light is your friend!

Good pictures, looking at the Supra, brought back good memories for me as I own at least 1 or more of each generation of the cars. Toyota IMO messed up when they stopped building them.

What was the last year they made them .... and your right, why the hell did they stop making a car that was so loved and followed?

Too expensive and not enough profit. More profit in the Prius.
