R53 Passenger Brake Light Problem

Hey All.... I am a new Mini owner and new to the forum so if I have posted incorrectly my apologies. I have a 04 cooper s just came out of the shop passenger brake light not working but drivers side is. 700.00 fix BCM needs to be replaced and right now cash is tight. I was told I could jump the wire from the drivers side brake light wire to the passengers side... for a temp fix. If this is true which wires on the harness on the back of the lamp board control the "Brake" control light..... I could not find a diagram anywhere online.

Id have to say, this does not sound like a good idea.... I've seen it done, and if you want your MCS to look all hooptie inside, then go right ahead, but seriously, just replace the BCM. Its only gonna get worse. And they need to address the sunroof drains at the same time, or it will kill the next one too......

I jumped mine and it works fine.
You should replace the bulbs with LED's.
If you don't, adding the extra bulb to the circuit may burn out the driver side of the BCM.
