Your most extreme MINI moments?

We've all had them... moments where we thought "Wow, that was nuts. I can't believe I just did it, and in my MINI!"

Post your craziest stories, the most absurd, extreme, or wild things you've done with your car. If you have video evidence, even better. (If you're a Top Gear fan, think back to the North Pole episode.)

Unfortunately, posting any of the crazy stuff I've pushed my little Cooper to do will probably get the thread locked.

We've all had those great moments on cloverleafs entering and exiting the highway. But the word 'moment' has an altogether different meaning in the track setting. My scariest moment occurred during a high performance driver education day at Lime Rock last year. For those unfamiliar with track theory, the most important corner at any track is the one before the longest staightaway. At Lime Rock, this happens to be a 90 degree righthander at the bottom of a significant downhill. I had been increasing my entrance speed over the course of the day, and was now entering the corner at 90 without any hitches. One lap I went in too hot, about 92 mph, and the laws of physics took over. I was unable to correct the car before it went into spin mode. With both feet in, as we say on the track, I ended up about a foot and half from the wall facing oncoming traffic. No damage done, except to my confidence. Came into the pits, and got cleared to go back out to finish the session.
