Purchased R53 w/ K&N CAI, and Magnaflow Exhaust, but...

unsure whether or not it was fitted w/ a 15% pulley........
I'm looking into a 15% pulley, but I'd hate to get 1/2 way through the project and realize that the previous owner already had one installed.

Are there any tell tale signs that would tell me whether or not it does indeed have a 15% pulley? Maybe diameter....? Something else?

If it is an aftermarket pulley, such as a 15%, it will have small bolts on the front that hold the pulley together and manufacturer logo such as Alta.

Yeah, you can pop the hood and look at the pulley and see for yourself. Take a pic and post it up of that. It's on the passenger side of the engine, where the belts are located.

You can see it from the engine compartment. Use a flashlight to help. It is on the passenger side about half way down the engine. Follow the serpentine around because it goes over the supercharger pulley. There is a belt tensioner near the supercharger pulley. There are various other pulley so make sure you really find the supercharger pulley.

Stock pulley is usually black, most aftermarket are usually polished look steel.

LOL........I thought some of you might enjoy that first pic.....

Okay....so stock pulley will likely be black....

Have any of you put on a 15% pulley.....any specific brand better than the other? Alta, WayMotorWorks, M7, etc., etc..

Stock pulley can even look slightly rusty and textured like a cheap-to-produce stock part would look, while the aftermarket pulleys are usually milled from shiny billet aluminum or some other alloy. If it looks like shiny, polished metal, and has the aforementioned bolts on the front of the pulley, and/or a vendor's logo, then its' aftermarket.

If the supercharger screams, its probably pulleyed.
