Will Golf clubs fit?

I'd love to hear your experience with putting golf clubs in the coupe.

I read somewhere (motoring file?) that yes, clubs will fit using the trap door in the center of the rear setback divider panel thing. The square in the center opens up to accommodate clubs or skis.

I'll second that. 2 sets please. In my hatchback they'll go diagonally and criss cross, but that's fine. There won't be room in that ski hole I don't think. We used a bud's VW Bug and had to take the long clubs out, lay the bags on the back seat, stick the woods on the floor behind the front seats. A royal PIA.

They dont fit in my 2007 MCS without putting down the back seats, most of the time I just put them in the front seat and motor on to the club.

I imagine that with the rear seats being gone in the coupe and having a divider between the seats and hatch, we have a good shot at fitting these like the person above in his MCS, criss cross in the the back... when I go look i'll bring two sets and find out for sure hahaha.

From the pics/video I've seen of the cubbie hole in the wall behind the front seats, I can see one set of clubs fitting, but not two. Unless you could angle the second set (or both sets) in the trunk without actually putting them through the cubbie hole.

golf clubs

Saw the coupe at my local dealer yesterday and I have my doubts that a set of clubs will fit even with removing the driver from the bag. I could be wrong, as I didn't bring my clubs.

They fit. I saw one at the dealer over the weekend and a chap brought his clubs from his car and put them in the boot.

Diagonally, right? Like the hatchback with the seats down, not using that little central door thingy.

Clubs and Cart both fit

New Owner of 2012 Cooper. Have put both golf bag with clubs, and push cart (Sun Mountain) in back with seats down. No problem, just a little positioning necessary, but both fit.

This is the Coupé section. See the photos above. Talking about a true 2-seater. There's essentially a firewall behind the front (only) seats.

2012 JCW Coupe

I have a ONOFF golf bag (not a Caddy bag nor is it a small utility bag, but just a regular golf bag) similar to:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-2012-ONO...item20c73fc2aa

I have PING G15 driver, TM Burner Hybrid, and set of Mizuno irons.

I saw a picture here on the forum somewhere where the person showed the bag fitting into the trunk of our beloved coupe before I purchased the car.
I'm not 100% sure but maybe the bag may have been one of those small utility bag because my bag will not fit in my trunk.
I've tried putting them diagnoally but won't work.
The only way I can personally fit my stuff are if I were to take the iron out of the bag separately, and putting them in diagonal position.
The hybrid and driver must go through the hatch that goes through to the front.

Perhaps some people may be able to do it but personally in my experience, it was not possible.
I just gave up driving my car, instead usually ride with a friend who has a bigger car :(

Don't be sad. Just means you have a built-in designated driver. Enjoy the 19th hole!!! Let Ferret-Face drive home sober!!!

That sux, and that's what I suspected as well. You have to remove some clubs in order to get the golf bag/clubs in the boot.
